ジョージ・ワシントンが入港しようとしています。わたしたちはこれに反対します。米国政府は日本政府に対し、艦船の原子炉情報を開示していません。

これでは横須賀の安全は守られません。もし、原子力事故がおきたとき、私たちは安全でしょうか？

昨年、ロナルド・レーガンは7回も出航を延期しました。その理由も私たちは知らされていません。

原子力艦船の母港であることは、わたしたち地元には、リスクです。

いま、世界中の人々は、戦争や軍事力ではない解決を求めています。

戦争は答えではありません。軍事力が答えではありません。

私たちはジョージ・ワシントンの入港を歓迎しません。

私たちはジョージ・ワシントンの横須賀母港化を歓迎しません。

 

Good morning,　everyone！We are the Yokosuka Peace Flotilla and the Yokosuka Anti-War and Peace movement Group.

 

The nuclear-powered aircraft carrier “George Washington” is coming into port in Yokosuka for redeployment. 

We cannot welcome it.

 

The U.S. government has told Japan that it will not disclose information about the nuclear ship's reactor. 

This does not protect the safety of the residents of Yokosuka.

 

Last year, the aircraft carrier Ronald Reagan postponed its departure seven times.　

We, the citizens of Yokosuka, are not even informed of the cause.

 The home port of a nuclear ｗarship is a risk to our local community.

Today, people around the world are seeking peace, not war or military power.

War is not the answer.

Military Power is not the answer.

We do not welcome the arrival of George Washington in our port！

We do not welcome the George Washington's home port of Yokosuka！
